Baptism
The Bridge will be hosting it's second Baptism in conjuction with our BeachFest AfterParty Picnic on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. The Afterparty Picnic will at 3:00pm. Just like all our other Afterpartys, everyone will be responsible for bringing their own food. The actual baptism will begin at 6:00pm.
Baptism is an outward declaration that one has entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Join us as we celebrate with those making this public declaration.
Location:
We will meet at the Blue Fish shelter at the beach. Sandy Point Beach is a state park. As a result, there's a $5 entry fee for Maryland residents and $6 for non-Maryland residents.
Interest in Being Baptized
If you are over 18 and interested in being baptized, you can sign up by clicking here.
If you are under 18, you will need the consent of your parents. You can pick up a baptism form to be signed by your parents at the Transfer Point.
Baptism Meeting
All baptism candidates have to attend one of two Baptism meetings prior to being baptized. The meetings will take place following our Sunday Morning gatherings on August 23rd and 30th.
